miHoYo just dropped the Zenless Zone Zero 3.3 "Journey to the Sky" patch notes and the gacha calendar is about to punish every F2P wallet on the planet. Phoenix Reffaella, S-Rank Fire Anomaly from the Krampus Compliance Authority, hits first half on October 21 with her Plume of Rebirth W-Engine. Severian Lowell, S-Rank Wind Attack commissioner from New Eridu Public Security, follows in phase two. Both banners run the usual 21-day split.

The new mech combat system lets Proxies pilot High Ambitions Corp. machines with swapable melee/ranged modes and laser finishers during the Roscaelifer sky-island story. Traffic is locked down on Booastrum, Quietude Isle is occupied, and Phoenix plus Severian are forced to work together whether they like it or not. Reruns include Velina and Norma plus their signature W-Engines. Free check-in hands out 10 Encrypted Master Tapes and 10 Boopons.

X is already full of whale coping and code hunters refreshing for the JRNY2SKY redemption. Chinese and Korean servers will set the real pity average before global even finishes downloading. The three Sunbringers' Karma Cores lore drops in the main quest. Another HoYoverse patch, another round of banner FOMO.
