Microsoft's long-requested Platinum-style reward is finally here, though only for Xbox Insiders testing the October 2026 console features update.

Mythic Achievements award when every original base-game Achievement is unlocked, with later DLC or update Achievements explicitly excluded and labeled as add-ons. The system applies retroactively to eligible completed titles, including some Xbox 360 games, so veteran players may already see Mythic markers on their profiles without replaying anything.

A new Gaming tab now organizes achievement progress, Gamerscore milestones, and completed games, complete with progress bars and the option to view friends' tabs for direct comparison. No full public rollout date has been announced, and eligibility criteria for older titles remain unspecified.
