Wuthering Waves Drops Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Collaboration Cinematics

Kuro Games just dropped the full story cinematics for the Wuthering Waves x Cyberpunk: Edgerunners collab, and the whales are already crying into their 10-pulls. Version 3.4 "The Dream Not Dreamed" launched June 8 with the episodic quest "At Dream's Edge," complete with Somnoire: Night City and a free 5-star Rebecca.

The 7-minute official video compiles the cutscenes, showing Lucy getting that bittersweet closure fans have wanted since the anime's gut-punch ending, plus Rebecca bringing the chaos and a Nightmare Adam Smasher boss fight. Edgerunners writer Bartosz Sztybor and CDPR team were hands-on with the story, which players are calling an actual epilogue rather than cheap fan service.

Community reaction is peak whale approval: Reddit and X are flooded with "I cried again," "best collab story," and screenshots of emotional David/Lucy moments. Actually this collab makes complete sense for Wuthering Waves and the cinematics look incredible, Kuro clearly cares about delivering the full Cyberpunk experience unlike some other gacha companies.
