Trophy Games Development A/S has agreed to acquire Paris-based mobile studio Playrion SASU from Paradox Interactive AB for an upfront cash payment of €2.25 million, with closing scheduled for September 30, 2026. The transaction includes a three-year earnout tied to 9% of net revenue from Playrion's games and is funded entirely from Trophy Games' existing cash reserves.

Playrion, founded in 2010 and acquired by Paradox in 2020, employs approximately 30 people and generates around €4 million in annual revenue. Its portfolio features aviation-themed management titles such as Airlines Manager and Airport Simulator: First Class. Trophy Games plans to retain the Paris operations while integrating the studio's technology into a new simulation series, following the pattern established after its earlier Airline Manager 4 acquisition.

Paradox described the sale as part of its continued focus on strategy and management games for PC and console platforms. Trophy Games simultaneously raised its full-year 2026 revenue guidance to DKK 170-180 million and EBITDA guidance to DKK 29-35 million.

The deal represents the largest acquisition in Trophy Games' history.
