Skyrim's endless inventory nightmare just got the flattest possible fix. IKEA dropped an official free Creation through Bethesda's Creations menu on PC and Xbox that turns their iconic KALLAX shelf into Kallax Storageborn, a fully voiced companion who lugs your hoard so you don't hit that dreaded encumbered slow-walk again.
The mod kicks off when you're overloaded, sending you to a long-abandoned Dwemer emporium for a questline packed with two IKEA-themed dungeons, a Clutter Golem boss fight, and a custom Thu'um shout — AYE-KEY-YAH — to summon the shelf on demand. Matt Berry of What We Do in the Shadows voices the sentient unit, which can store unlimited loot, tidy player homes, and even get summoned when not actively following you. Kinggath Creations handled the build, adding gems like the Allenblade weapon, Meatball Helmet, and meatball consumables along the way.
It's live now for free on PC and Xbox with PlayStation coming soon, and the trailer leans hard into the absurdity while IKEA execs pitch it as solving "clutter" in Tamriel the same way they do in real life. Community reactions on X are mostly pure chaos and memes, with folks calling it the most random collab of 2026 and immediately spamming the new shout in every comment.
This is peak Skyrim energy in 2026 — fifteen years later and the Dragonborn still needs help hauling cheese wheels, except now the help is a British comedian in shelf form. Peak chaos, zero shame.
