Elementa and Silver Studio are pushing Silver Palace hard as the next big thing in the open-world detective RPG space, dropping a fresh gameplay trailer and opening sign-ups for the "Dichotomy" closed beta on PC through July 16. This second test builds on the earlier "Monotype" run from January, adding the male protagonist, new characters, expanded story bits, and more systems in the Victorian-flavored city of Silvernia. No gacha pulls or MTX in this wipe test, just straight detective work, interrogation, card games, chess, and flying around on beast mounts including a massive whale blimp.

The trailer leans into that Honkai: Star Rail-style tension with Red Rose narrating, plus stealth snooping and real-time combat that feels like a Hoyoverse competitor trying to carve out its own niche with investigation mechanics. Beta access is 18+ only, small-scale, and previous qualifiers from the first test can check eligibility on the official site. Elementa is also sending the game on a global tour starting with Anime Expo LA this week, hitting Paris, Shanghai, Guangzhou, NYC, and gamescom later.

No release date yet, but the hype machine is running with pre-regs already open and comparisons flying to Genshin and Metaphor: ReFantazio. For whales eyeing the next banner war, this is one to watch closely—another studio gunning for that sweet gacha revenue in a crowded market.
