Sanrio Games just kicked off pre-registration for its first mobile title, Sanrio Kawaii Me Live!, locking in a global January 2027 launch on iOS and Android. The free-to-play dance and rhythm game lets players slap together super-kawaii outfits and stages for Hello Kitty and the crew while tapping along to original tracks. Pre-reg milestones already dangle gacha tickets and a branded Hello Kitty Mira Wear outfit at the 1 million mark, with smaller drops like Cosmo Sodas and accessory sets along the way.

Music comes from a Universal Music tie-up with Soala, SHE'S, Lienel, Polkadot Stingray, Yabai T-Shirts Yasan, and Mi'Line Hearts dropping original cuts, plus a headline collab where ZUTOMAYO's new track "アーモンド問答" serves as the main theme. A January 14, 2027, launch concert at Yokohama Kannai Hall will feature the artists alongside a 3D Kuromi and the usual Sanrio cast. Japan ran a closed beta earlier this summer; the rest of us grind the pre-reg counter for now.

IP owners pushing their own game brand into mobile while chasing gacha whales with cute skins is the real story here. Sanrio Games already has Hello Kitty Party Land out and another title in the pipeline, so this rhythm drop is them testing the waters hard. Pre-reg is live on the App Store and Google Play if you want the early rewards.
