Remedy Entertainment's first quarter of 2026 business review indicates that Control has now surpassed six million units sold lifetime, up from five million reported previously. This milestone comes alongside confirmation that Control Resonant remains on track for a 2026 release across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.

Net sales for the quarter totaled 13.1 million euros, a decrease of 1.9 percent from the prior year, while operating profit stood at 1.0 million euros, reflecting a margin of 7.8 percent. Revenue from game sales and royalties saw an increase, driven by ongoing sales of Control, royalties from Alan Wake 2, and contributions from FBC: Firebreak, despite its underperformance. Cash flow from operations improved notably to 8.3 million euros.

The company is shifting focus back to its core single-player strengths, with Max Payne 1 and 2 remakes entering full production and a third unannounced project in proof-of-concept. Firebreak development has concluded with no further content planned beyond infrastructure support, allowing resources to realign. New CEO Jean-Charles Gaudechon emphasized sustained performance from back-catalog titles as single-player investments continue to yield returns over time.
