The Revenant rises again — undead gambler, undead legend, undead PS Plus freebie. Crytek's bayou just got a little more crowded starting October 6.

PlayStation Plus members can claim F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896, and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 starting October 6 through November 2.

The announcement from Sony Interactive Entertainment Senior Director Adam Michel lists the three titles as available to all tiers of the service, with F1 25 limited to PS5, Hunt: Showdown 1896 on PS5, and EDF World Brothers 2 on both PS5 and PS4.

September’s lineup of Sniper Elite: Resistance, MLB The Show 26, Wobbly Life, and Chained Echoes remains claimable until October 5. Additional horror-themed item bundles for games including Call of Duty: Warzone and Overwatch 2 will roll out during October for members.

This quarter’s free game selection was… adequate.

F1 25 might be free but my kids are going to turn those racing games into 400 dollar controller replacements before October is over.
