Sony just dropped another month of PS Plus Extra and Premium catalog games, and the headliners are Mafia: The Old Country on PS5 and a re-release of Horizon Forbidden West for PS5 and PS4, both hitting October 20.
Mafia: The Old Country sends players back to 1900s Sicily as Enzo Favara climbing the ranks in the criminal underworld with blades, shotguns, and vendettas, while Horizon Forbidden West has Aloy back in the Forbidden West battling machines and new factions. Mycopunk joins day one on October 20 as a four-player co-op looter shooter cutting through fungal enemies with a ragtag crew of robot rejects.
Premium tier gets Dino Crisis 2 and RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition added to the classics lineup for spooky season vibes, plus other catalog drops like Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 later in the month and The Midnight Walk already available in some regions.
X users are already noting the backlog pressure from stacking big titles like Mafia and Horizon in one month, with one poster saying their backlog just filed a restraining order.
