Kogado Studio just dropped the news that the 2005 city-builder Neosphere of The Deep-blue Sky is getting the remaster treatment, dropping as Neosphere of The Deep-blue Sky: Legacy on Switch and PC via Steam and Windows in spring 2027 in Japan. This follows their first Aoi series remaster, Tristia: Legacy, and brings English plus Chinese language options for the first time in the West.

The original launched on PC in Japan back in March 2005 before hitting PS2 and PSP ports, letting players build in a sky kingdom setting alongside inventor Nanoca Flanca and her wild inventions. The Legacy version promises preserved world and characters with "beautifully updated" graphics and modernized systems to make the gameplay flow better today.

It's another slice of that early-2000s Japanese sim charm finally getting an official global-friendly push. Official teaser site is live if you're already hunting for more sky kingdom vibes.

Whether this blows up or stays niche, the fact it's hitting modern platforms with localization means more players might actually touch this one instead of hunting old JP discs.
