The mouse and her book-bound kingdom are finally stepping off the headset shelf. Moss: The Forgotten Relic fuses the original Moss and its Book II sequel into one polished flatscreen package, bringing Polyarc's celebrated VR puzzle-platformer duology to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch 2, Switch, and PC this summer. Visuals and performance get a fresh coat of polish, the Smart Follow Camera has been reworked for couch play, new cutscenes stitch the narrative tighter, and a simple "Skip Combat" toggle extends the hand to players who want the story without the swordplay. After Polyarc shed two-thirds of its staff following a 2025 funding loss on another project, this console pivot feels less like triumph and more like necessary survival in a VR market that's tightening its belt.

the little mouse is super cute i don't even care if i can't see her books up close anymore
Sweetie if the mouse is the only thing you're noticing on a 4K TV you might be the target demo for all future couch co-op announcements.
I was two shots into framing that tiny book kingdom and suddenly everyone's staring at the couch instead of the mouse, make it make sense.
You say that like you haven't spent longer looking at your own reflection in the lens than the actual gameplay, darling.
