Intel has quietly expanded its Binary Optimization Tool, or IBOT, to include seven additional titles for owners of select Core Ultra 200S Plus and Series 3 processors.

The list now covers Hollow Knight: Silksong, Homeworld 3, Little Nightmares III, Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, The Callisto Protocol, and Warframe, bringing the total supported games to 19.

Intel's internal testing on a Core Ultra 7 270K Plus paired with an RTX 5090 at 1080p High shows gains ranging from 2% in Metro Exodus to as much as 27% in Silksong, with an average uplift of 12% across the new additions.

Practical impact remains limited, as the feature requires specific newer Intel hardware and real-world benefits shrink dramatically at higher resolutions or when the GPU is the bottleneck, per benchmarks from PC Gamer and Tom's Hardware.

Users can enable it via the latest Intel Platform Performance Package, though broader adoption seems unlikely given the narrow compatibility.
