Hytale just dropped the date for its first real Chapter update and the devs went full goblin mode. Chapter 1 lands October 12 with the game’s first handcrafted dungeon, a multi-phase flamethrower boss called the Gobliterator, and a new world event that rips open portals to goblin-infested chaos.

The Goblin Breach spits out swarms of the green guys plus their junk tech for players to yoink—hookshot launcher, rocket boots for sick double jumps, glider, mining drill, spyglass. Some goblins are even friendly shopkeepers now. Hypixel boss Simon Collins-Laflamme threw down a $15k challenge for the first streamer to solo the boss in hardcore, no armor, no potions, no glitches, on stream.

Early Access has been cooking since January with 2.8 million players at launch, and this chapter is the biggest content drop yet. Pre-release waves already showed off reworked goblin AI, rune abilities, and the dungeon pieces. Community hype is peaking with the trailer dropping views like crazy and folks calling it the moment the game finally feels like more than fancy Minecraft.
