Arrowhead just dropped the Scope of Authority Premium Warbond trailer and the long-range crowd is already salivating over the R-40 Sightliner bolt-action sniper. It promises armor-piercing rounds and precision from the treeline, backed by the backpack-fed AMW-20 Apex anti-materiel rifle for when subtlety fails. Stealth fans get the SS-33 Mimetic Marshal light armor with adaptive ghillie-style netting and the Stationary Shroud passive that cuts detection while crouched or prone.

The full drop lands October 20 for the usual 1,000 Super Credits, bringing the P-44 Mist machine pistol, LAS-44 Nova energy rifle, G-11 Caltrops, and two new armor sets with camo tricks. Community posts on X show the trailer pulling solid views and comments praising the anti-tank sniper and adaptive camo, though a few note the game still needs stealth fixes before layering on more recon tools.

This is the next paid content drop in a live-service cycle that keeps feeding new toys to dedicated players. Whether the sniper meta actually lands or just becomes another situational pick depends on how the patches handle it post-launch.
