Helldivers 2 is finally giving the mech chads what they've been screaming for since launch. The Exo Experts Warbond drops April 28 and it's loaded with two brand new exosuits that look ready to turn bug holes and bot factories into scrapyards. EXO-51 Lumberer packs an anti-tank cannon and flamethrower to literally fight fire with fire, while the EXO-55 Breakthrough brings a flak cannon and ballistics shield for when you need to tank hits and keep the heavy fire going. Arrowhead heard the community begging for proper heavy exosuits and delivered the goods.

Along for the ride are the MGX-42 Bullet Storm disposable machine gun that spits caseless ammo until you yeet it, the SMG-203 Gallant as the high-fire-rate little brother to the Knight, and the P-33 Missile Pistol that locks on and actually hits 60% of the time. New armors O-2 Heavy Operator and O-3 Free Spirit come with the Oxygenator perk for faster movement and SteerComfort so you feel every glorious jostle in the cockpit. Capes, patterns, a Thumb of Approval emote, and the Exosuit Certified title round out the package. All unlocked through the usual Super Credits and medal grind.

Community's been hyped on X with trailer drops and first looks already circulating, while Reddit threads from months ago were literally begging for the EXO-51 Lumberer by name with its flamethrower and anti-tank combo. Players have been tired of weak mechs and warbonds that didn't deliver on the power fantasy. This one looks like it actually might. About damn time Arrowhead stopped teasing and gave us tools to stomp Super Earth's enemies into the dirt where they belong.
