Halo: Campaign Evolved arrives July 28, 2026, on Xbox Series X|S, PC, and PlayStation 5, with a full Unreal Engine 5 rebuild of the original Combat Evolved campaign plus three new Operation: METEORITE missions set a year earlier.

Premium and Collector’s Edition buyers gain five days early access starting July 23, while the PC version lists an RTX 4080 or equivalent for 4K/60 on Ultra settings according to estimated requirements circulating from Wccftech coverage.

Operation: METEORITE adds new enemy variants, weapons from across the series, and expanded sandbox elements in a clandestine UNSC operation aboard a Covenant vessel.

This marks the first Halo title on PlayStation and the first without competitive multiplayer, landing day one on Game Pass with up to four-player cross-platform co-op.

The announcement came during the Xbox Games Showcase, positioning the release well ahead of other major titles later in the year.
