Microsoft just dropped the first August Game Pass wave and it's serving up that sweet early access beta for Gears of War: E-Day right alongside the full drops for Cricket 26 and Date Everything!.

The Gears beta drops August 6 for Ultimate and PC Game Pass subs (with a second open weekend August 13), letting folks smash grubs in the new Horde Siege mode before the October 6 full launch. Meanwhile Cricket 26 swings in on the 13th with management career modes and Ashes rivalry action, and Date Everything! hits the 11th letting you romance your furniture and existential dread in a 100-character voice-acted sandbox.

X is already buzzing with the usual mix of hype screenshots and one guy asking why the beta is tied to Game Pass at all. Classic wave drop energy — more games, more chaos, zero surprises.
