Microsoft Edge is gearing up to kneecap real adblockers like uBlock Origin by phasing out Manifest V2 support starting this month, following Chrome's MV3 path that already neutered the full-fat blocker. Firefox clapped back hard on socials with 'Our support for uBlock Origin isn't going anywhere' right after reminding everyone you can still just... use ad blockers on their browser. Wild concept when every other big player is locking the door.
