Splatoon Raiders just keeps printing yen in Japan. The Switch 2 spin-off moved another 73,542 physical copies in the second week per Famitsu, pushing its lifetime total to 548,226 retail units through August 2. That's the kind of sustained performance gacha whales dream about but rarely see from actual games.

New release Village in the Shade from Nippon Ichi opened at a combined 34,423 units across Switch 2 (21,965) and original Switch (12,458), topping the new entry list while the PS5 version missed the top 10 entirely. Hardware moved too—Switch 2 shifted another 30k units that week.

Rhythm Heaven Groove and a stack of Prince of Tennis tie-ins rounded out the top spots, but Raiders is the one holding the line like a mech in the Spirhalite Islands. Physical-only numbers, no digital included, and it's still number one after seven days.
