EverQuest Legends is dropping tomorrow at 3 p.m. EDT with the one thing classic fans have been begging for since the original 1999 launch: playable Kerran.

Game Jawn and Daybreak confirmed the humanoid cat race at San Diego Comic-Con this weekend, with executive producer David “Sysyphus” Youssefi telling Variety they’re updating the old models with new skins and animations to make them a launch-day option. Kerran were never playable in the original EverQuest but showed up in EverQuest II and got heavy hype back in the canceled EverQuest Next days. Community demand “exploded,” so the devs prioritized it over the roadmap.

Launch comes with the usual “expect queues” warning as servers open slowly, and the base game is $19.99 with the first month included. Pre-order beta wrapped July 21 with a full wipe, so everyone starts fresh. A Discord roadmap is already floating around if you want the post-launch tea.
