DICE just dropped their third patch of the week for Battlefield 6 Season 5, and the known issues list is still longer than the actual fixes. Update 1.000.036 follows hot on the heels of Season 5's launch and a cosmetics apology, targeting the silent XP throttling that hit weapon mastery and mode progression right out the gate.

The studio claims the progression slowdown was an "unintended backend configuration issue" they rolled back on October 15, alongside fixes for PS5 Pro campaign white screens and granting Phantom Edition owners their free GOTY skin. But revive prompts are still busted in REDSEC Battle Royale, vehicle health regen is dragging, and Vegas Strip got yanked from Rush entirely over M-COM problems.

Players aren't buying the "whoops" narrative when the same game pushes $30 mastery shortcuts, and the cosmetics drama with typo-laden skins and questionable AI vibes hasn't cooled off. DICE says more patches are incoming because this list isn't even comprehensive.

The known issues keep piling up faster than the hotfixes can shovel them away.
