Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred drops April 28 like a flaming meteor to the nuts, and Blizzard's calling it the 'ultimate expression' of the game. After Vessel of Hatred felt like a half-cooked side quest with a side of disappointment, they're back swinging with two new classes, a revamped skill tree for every bastard in Sanctuary, an overhauled endgame, and the legendary Horadric Cube returning to actually make loot matter again instead of another salvage orgy.
Paladin's been shadow-dropped early for pre-purchasers -- holy warrior back from the grave, smashing demons with auras, hammers, and that righteous fury fans have begged for since D2. Warlock hits at launch, commanding hellish powers, minions, and AoE nukes that look like pure destructive chaos. Mephisto's reckoning is here, new region Skovos, War Plans, Talismans, loot filters, fishing, and enough systems tweaks to make your old build feel like it owes you money. Trailer's hyping the fight against the Lord of Hatred, and the community's split between 'finally fixing this shit' and 'another paid redemption arc?'
X is flooded with trailer drops and Warlock hype, Reddit's review threads already calling it a thrilling conclusion with deeper endgame while some salty vets whine about Vessel bundle regrets. Blizzard devs straight-up said this is the best D4's ever been -- angels, demons, Eternal Conflict dialed to eleven. If the Cube delivers meaningful itemization instead of more seasonal cope, this could actually resurrect the corpse. If it's more live-service smoke, we'll be pissing on another grave by May. Hour of reckoning indeed -- don't fuck it up this time.
