The new peak hit 291,816 players on launch day per SteamDB data, more than doubling the previous high of around 134K from the Chapters 3 & 4 release last year. Toby Fox confirmed Chapter 6 is targeting 2027 with periodic updates in the meantime, and more chapters coming free later.
