Pearl Abyss just dropped Crimson Desert version 1.12.00 on Steam and PS5, handing players the ability to decorate outside their house along with 58 fresh items and two new crafting tools. Whales who already sank time into indoor setups now get to expand their empire with fountains, wells, braziers, streetlights, carpets, hanging planters, automata toys, a music box, and pet furniture, all craftable at the new Workstation or Loom scattered across Greymane Camp and other spots.
The update also unlocks Visiones and memory reading for Damiane and Oongka, lets them mount Blackstar, adds chain attacks while sliding for every weapon, and tosses in five new helmets plus armor for Kliff plus gloves and a unique sit animation for Damiane. A Box of Fortune at the Mysterious Shop costs 100 silver with a three-per-restock limit, while 51 new knowledge entries for Collectibles - Contract and dozens of bug fixes round out the patch. Xbox, Epic, and Mac versions are still cooking.
Community chatter on X shows quick adoption for the housing flex, with some players already posting outdoor tours and noting how it makes the world feel more lived-in. Patch notes confirm the rollout is live now for PC and PS5, so the grind for those manuals from claw machines and orb rolls just got a whole new layer.
