Hamster is dropping two retro drops on October 22 across PS5, Switch 2, and Xbox Series X|S: the $11.99 Console Archives Raiden Project bundling the 1990 arcade Raiden and its 1993 sequel Raiden II (Japanese version only, full Japanese text), plus Arcade Archives Ace Driver Victory Lap, the 1996 Namco System 22 F1 racer sequel.
The shooter port adds modern Hamster staples like rapid-fire toggles, save states, rewind, button remaps, and CRT filters on top of the original vertical-scrolling alien-invasion action. Victory Lap follows the May 2026 original Ace Driver Arcade Archives release and brings the enhanced sequel to consoles for the first time, with online rankings available on the racer side.
Both titles slot into Hamster’s ongoing push to preserve and modernize 90s arcade and home-console catalog pieces for current hardware, with prices staying under $17 combined.
