Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone are dropping The Haunting on September 17 like it's already mid-October and nobody told the calendar. The seasonal refresh brings new maps, a blood-soaked retheme, and the Forbidden Summoning event across both titles, with Activision leaning hard into the spooky season before Modern Warfare 4 even shows up.

Multiplayer gets Quantum, a fresh Arctic quantum computing facility map, plus Bloodstead, the horror-tinged Homestead retheme where the water runs red and horrors lurk at every corner. Limited-time modes include T.E.D.D. Trials, which stuff three classic Zombies maps into 6v6 multiplayer with Ray Guns and rotating objectives, and returning Hordepoint where zombies actually fight for the Hardpoint. Warzone lands Haunted Hollow, a nighttime horror variant of Haven’s Hollow complete with a Ghost Train, trick-or-treat pumpkins, and Giant Infected LTM for 64-player chaos.

Zombies side adds Tenshu survival map and expands Rogue Run with new pedestal rewards, while the Battle Pass pushes Blackjack up front with the VMP SMG, TR51 Para, and a Doom crossover Event Pass featuring the Doom Slayer Operator and demonic bundles. The Forbidden Summoning event on Avalon Night lets squads unlock seals to free an ancient threat for big rewards. Sources confirm the update hits all platforms at 9 AM PT.
