Wired Productions and Tokyo-based Serafini Productions have locked in September 10 as the launch date for BrokenLore: DON’T LIE, the latest standalone entry in their psychological horror anthology, hitting PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The game places players in the shoes of Junko, a young woman trapped in her apartment whose attempts to reconnect with former rehabilitation center patients Shinji and Hideo spiral into a haze of lies, hallucinations, and unraveling sanity.
This is not a sequel but a deeper cut into the BrokenLore mythology, described officially as a longer and darker spin-off of DON’T WATCH, where medication, fragile bonds, and self-deception turn familiar spaces into liminal nightmares. Key mechanics include first-person exploration of unsettling environments for clues and memory fragments, plus stealth segments where players must hide from stalking hallucinations or face the consequences. A fresh demo dropped for the current Steam Next Fest edition, giving early access to the paranoia before the full release.
Publisher managing director Leo Zullo framed it as the kind of horror that lingers, an exploration of isolation and memory that feels human yet profoundly disturbing. The announcement arrives alongside wishlist pushes across Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox stores, with the series already expanding through titles like UNFOLLOW and FOLLOW that probe themes of trauma and social isolation in similar vein.
