Battlefield 6's latest preload patch 1.000.021 just dropped an 824MB hammer on console players today, slamming the door on out-of-bounds exploits across Hagental Base, Railway to Golmud, and Portal maps right before launch.

DICE is scrambling to seal those map holes with fixes for spawn placement, objective behavior, and ladder climbs that let griefers bail on the fight entirely, plus respawn glitches and vehicle deploy nonsense that were turning lobbies into clown shows. The changelog reads like a desperate scramble to make the maps playable instead of playgrounds for cheaters.

This ain't content, it's damage control, and it lands ahead of whatever Season 3 chaos drops tomorrow. Players on PS5 are already grabbing the file while the rest of us wait for the full rollout. If the exploits were this rampant in preload, the live servers are gonna be a bloodbath without these bandaids.
