FuRyu just dropped a five-minute systems trailer for ANOMALITH, their third-person survival shooter about liminal-space anomalies and a girl who woke up from a ten-year nap inside one. The clip frames itself as a government training video for "Divers" investigating Otherworlds, complete with erratic enemies that eat bullets for breakfast and turn into melee punching bags once stunned. Reona Minazuki gets the Demi-Humanization System treatment too, letting her pull active and passive powers straight from the anomalies while managing inventory like it's the end of days.

Winning Entertainment Group (formerly Natsume Atari) is the dev, and they've stacked the talent—scenario lead Romeo Tanaka, character designer MON, and composer Yuka Kitamura fresh off Elden Ring. Platforms are PS5, Switch 2, and Steam PC with a hard October 29 launch. Over 300 outfit pieces, artifact luck rolls, and 200-plus investigation reports round out the package for anyone who wants to cosplay as a government-funded anomaly hunter.

Steam demos already went out during Six One Indie Demo Days and pulled solid wishlists north of 60k. Japanese coverage from Game*Spark and Automaton West has been all over the parry mechanics and Showa-retro liminal vibes. The trailer ends on an error message for that extra unsettling touch. This one's either going to be the next big extraction-horror darling or another FuRyu experiment that vanishes into the Otherworld.
