AION 2 just body-slammed the Steam charts like a Daeva dropping from the sky. The NCSoft sequel hit a 171,530 concurrent peak on its first day of paid Early Access and sat at #1 on the global Top Sellers list across a dozen countries, all before the free-to-play launch even hits on October 5.

Those numbers come from paid Founder’s Pack buyers only—SteamDB tracked the all-time high on September 30, with over 100,000 players still online the next day and recent daily peaks settling around 146K. The 1.3 million wishlist count beforehand turned into actual revenue, enough to top the charts while the game was still behind a paywall.

Steam numbers don’t include PURPLE launcher players, so the real global total runs higher. NCSoft’s been quiet on exact sales figures, but the revenue ranking and sustained concurrency tell the story better than any press release. This Korean import is cooking on PC right now.
